Here is the video for tomorrow's class. This week we will be covering the Distance Postulate, Parallel & Perpendicular lines & midpoints/bisectors. This weeks classwork will work off of content you have learned thus far and build on content from the videos.

Tuesday Stations

1. Computer Lab: Pts, Lines, Segments, Rays (copy question and answer to 6 of these and submit them to ensure they are right). Should it say you have reached your limit just close the limiting screen and continue the quiz.
2. 2. Study Boost Station #1: Point, Line, Segment Postulates.
            a)   For this station you will need to create an account at https://studyboost.com/ and save the
                  Studyboost phone number to your contacts
            b)   Next you will need to search for "Orthographic and Angle..." or "blocks top side view" or
                  enter "klcsiii"
            c)   When you find it, "activate" the batch
            d)   Finally, text the same keywords from part b to the phone number saved in your contacts list and
                  take the quiz.
3. Engineers often use technology to help them create more accurate orthographic drawings of items. Your
    mission today is to use Google Sketch (should already be downloaded, if not: http://sketchup.google.com/download/) to create an orthographic/corner view drawing of the item
    shown. Also recreate it at Cubespace: http://www.themaninblue.com/experiment/Cubescape/new.php. For both, show a teacher for credit.

               Be sure to record your score. If you don't like your score then take the quiz again.

Orthographic and Isometric

This video is essential for your field trip on Wednesday. The concepts are easy but the classwork will be a little more difficult. Part of the classwork will involve you piecing back together snapshots you take of buildings at UTSA. Other project work will involve your knowledge of databases at SAPL and the application of geometry and precision in architecture and sculpture. The quiz on Friday will contain previous concepts, this weeks concepts and those shared by the presenters of the field trip. Do I also see a test looming?
