Bass drums, cymbals, Hi-Hats, cowbells, snare drums, tom toms, & floor toms are just some of the instruments in SASIC’s percussion class. From drum kits to bass guitars, its all here. The class is usually offered from 2:40 to 3:25. It is lead by Mr.Wilson.
We do a lot of cool things in the class. It's a really easy going class. A lot of the things we do are spontaneous. We just grab any sort of instrument in the room, go outside, & play. A lot of times we try to focus on one type of music. From reggae to pop, we cover it all. Sometimes we even go outside and use random items we find ( trash cans, wood blocks, brooms, etc.) & make up our own music! I can say, hands down, that the percussion class here is the best one I've been in. It's so fun & you always learn something new everyday.
I love it, improvisational percussion is the best kind!
